The IECMHC Network has expanded services for family child care providers and family, friend, and neighbor caregivers.
- The Helpline is live “just in time” one-on-one support for timely, non-emergency guidance and phone support for specific questions or concerns related to infant, toddler, and young children’s social, emotional, and behavioral health. Linkages to resources can also be provided. Please call us at 1-877-524-2422 for immediate support!
- Open-Door Sessions are facilitated by IECMHC Network infant and early childhood mental health specialists and consultants. Teachers, administrators, and program leaders are encouraged to access this “on demand” virtual consultation to seek support and resources about infant, toddler, and young children’s social, emotional, and behavioral health, staff wellness and relationships, and connect with other early learning and care professionals.
- Communities of Support Series is being offered to small groups of family child care providers and family, friend, and neighbor caregivers. These sessions are designed to foster discussion of the barriers and challenges in working with young children and their families, share resources and offer opportunities for peer-to-peer learning, and engagement between caregivers sharing similar experiences. Groups are available in English and Spanish. Participation stipends are available.
- Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation Services are provided by consultants. Educational materials and resources are provided for use in daily interactions and care of young children.
